A Price of Many Children

Israel is one of the most fecund societies in the industrial world. There are various explanations for this, and even more implications, but for the purpose of this post suffice it to say that just about all groups of Israeli society have more children than the parallel groups elsewhere (if there are any parallels). Hen or egg, it's a society that encourages, even expects, children.

Here's a poignant article by a woman who is not managing to join, and is probably suffering much more than if she was, say, a European.
