Here's another description of how unfortunate it is to be a woman in the Arab world. According to The Independent - hardly a Zionist propaganda organ, they - may men in Iraq seem to think it's a fine thing to use the camera in their cellular phone to film themselves having sex; once they send out the pictures, the women are murdered by their fathers or brothers for having desecrated the honor of the family.
The whole thing is sick, from beginning to end.

Honor killings are coming to the West as well. In Texas a father honor-murdered his two daughters in his taxicab. No one knows if he has escaped to Egypt or if he is being hidden by the Muslim community here. (He allegedly told his daughters that he wished he was in Egypt where he could kill them with impunity. Nice neighbor y'all have there.)
Is it, I keep thinking, just barely possible that the horrific treatment of women in Islam will be a wakeup call to Israeli liberals about the dangers of negotiating with Muslim terrorists? It seems a slim hope, as it has had no such effect on liberals in the U.S. or the UK, where the silence is fairly deafening among liberal feminists, who ought to be up in arms. It's largely traditionalists and conservatives who are talking.
The world is an odd place.
